| Is The Mattress Saver™ easy to install? Yes! Just remove your mattress, place The Mattress Saver™ on top of the boxspring, then replace the mattress. We highly recommended that you cover The Mattress Saver™ and your boxspring with a fitted sheet or bed skirt to hold it in position while you replace the mattress. It is not absolutely necessary to use a fitted sheet or bed skirt, but it makes replacing your mattress much easier. If you do not have an extra fitted sheet, you can order one from us at a discounted price. If you have a platform style bed which does not use a boxspring, a fitted or flat sheet can be thumbtacked in place and works quite well. Why is my mattress sagging in the first place? With the exception of a manufacturing defect, mattresses generally sag when the foam in the top part of the mattress softens (starts to break down) and doesn't return to its original height and shape. This is normal and happens in all mattresses to some degree, but the foam can break down to the point that the dips or sags become deep and uncomfortable and that's when the The Mattress Saver™ really performs its magic.
